About Us
We were only founded in June 2008 so you can be forgiven if you haven't heard of us before, but we’ve a lot to say and are growing rapidly. We dream big and aim high, and we’re sure you’ll be seeing a lot more of us in the near future.
What is the AHS?
The AHS – the National Federation of Atheist, Humanist and Secular Student Societies to use its full title – is a confederation of non-religious student societies based at institutes of higher and further education in the United Kingdom. Basically we are an organisation that represents student societies at a national level.
Any atheist, Humanist, secular or other non-religious student society can petition for membership. To learn more about becoming a member or affiliating with the AHS, please see the membership section.
Our Constitution
The governing document of the AHS is our constitution. We aim to run as transparent an organisation as possible, and so you can download a copy from this website.
